An incentive day – team building on Certosa Island.
Teaming up within a company? Sharing experiences outside the work environment? Testing yourself to harmonize group dynamics?
Here is one of the SlowVenice proposal dedicated to team building!
In collaboration with Vento di Venezia – Marina Certosa, a member of the SlowVenice Network, we organized a day on a sailing boat for four companies of the Auxiell group who wanted to spend a day discovering the Lagoon of Venice, while experimenting with a completely innovative approach to team building.
After an informative and technical briefing at the Casello delle Poveri, one of the ancient restored structures of the island, five boats left the Certosa docks: skippers and participants like captains with their crews.
An inflatable dinghy boat with a technical team followed each operation at a short distance.
Then, the sailing in the heart of the North Lagoon began, which brought the small fleet up to Mazzorbo.
A SlowVenice guide was waiting for them to visit the island before a well-deserved fish lunch.
After that, the crews faced each other in a regatta, and then docked again at the Certosa.
De-briefing and cocktails completed the experience before returning to the mainland with a reserved motorboat.
A unique day to see the beauties of the Lagoon, sailing in the brackish waters and under a clear sky, learning a new activity thanks to the advices of experienced captains.
A way to show that in any field it is important to trust your team, to help, motivate and give the best.
